How Carpet Fresh Now cleans
Great carpet cleaning is not about more water or stronger chemicals. It is about balancing chemistry, agitation, temperature and time for each fibre — and recovering as much moisture as possible afterwards.
Inspect honestly, remove dry soil first, choose chemistry for the fibre, rinse thoroughly, recover moisture, dry fast — and never promise what a carpet cannot deliver.
The cleaning balance
Every professional clean relies on four factors. Increase one and you can reduce another. A delicate wool rug, for example, cannot tolerate high heat or strong alkaline chemistry, so we compensate with a longer dwell time and gentle hand agitation.
A tough synthetic office carpet can handle more heat and machine agitation, which means a faster clean with less chemistry. That is why we never use one product or one setting for every job — and why we ask about your carpet before we quote.
The final step is just as important: recovery. Any detergent left behind becomes sticky and attracts dirt faster. We rinse with clean water and use strong vacuum lift so your carpet stays cleaner for longer.
Stain library
Choose a stain to see what causes it, how we remove it and what you can safely do in the first few minutes.
Tannin stains are the most common spill we see in Dhaka homes. Blot immediately with a white cloth and cool water — never hot water, which can set the tannin. We use a tannin spotter followed by a mild acidic rinse, which lifts the brown ring that household cleaning usually leaves behind.
First aid before we arrive:
Turmeric is a powerful natural dye, so curry stains combine oil with pigment. We break down the oil first with a solvent-based spotter, then treat the yellow colour with a controlled oxidiser. Fresh stains often lift completely; older ones usually fade significantly.
First aid before we arrive:
Urine soaks through to the backing and underlay, where bacteria create an ammonia smell that returns every humid day. We trace deposits with a UV light, flush the area, and apply an enzyme treatment that digests the organic matter rather than masking it.
First aid before we arrive:
Ballpoint ink, gel pens and school markers are common in homes with children. We test a solvent on a hidden area, then work in small dabs from the outside in, transferring ink onto white towels until nothing more comes away.
First aid before we arrive:
Candle wax and chewing gum are removed physically before any chemistry. We freeze gum with a cold spray so it shatters, and lift wax with a warm iron through absorbent paper, then treat any remaining colour dye.
First aid before we arrive:
Monsoon mud is best left to dry completely. Once dry, most of it vacuums away. The remaining clay colour is treated with a neutral detergent and a thorough extraction rinse.

What our crew brings
Many Dhaka buildings have narrow stairs, small lifts or strict parking rules. Our equipment is chosen to be portable without sacrificing cleaning power.
Safer chemistry
Most of our detergents are biodegradable and low in volatile organic compounds, so there is no heavy chemical smell after a clean. We avoid optical brighteners that make carpets look artificially clean and then yellow over time.
Wastewater is collected in our machines' recovery tanks and disposed of responsibly — never poured onto your balcony, roof or garden. Technicians wear gloves when handling concentrates and dilute products to exact ratios using measured dispensers.
Book a visit and your lead technician will explain every step as they work — questions welcome.
