1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Carpet Fresh Now, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. By making a booking, accepting a written quotation or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms should be read with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of this agreement.
2. Quotes and estimates
Estimates given by phone, WhatsApp or email are based on the information and photographs you provide and are not binding. A binding written quotation is provided after inspection and before work begins. The quoted price will not increase once work starts unless you ask us to add items or services.
Written quotations for home services are valid for 30 days; commercial quotations are valid for 60 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Bookings and access
- Bookings are confirmed when we send a confirmation message with the date and arrival window
- You must ensure an adult (18+) is present to give access, approve the quotation and check the work
- You must provide access to a working power socket and a water tap
- Where parking or building access requires permission, please arrange this in advance
- Arrival windows are estimates; Dhaka traffic may cause delays, and we will keep you informed
4. Your responsibilities
- Remove fragile, valuable and personal items from the areas to be cleaned
- Tell us about known defects, previous cleaning attempts, recent spills and products already used on stains
- Tell us about pets, allergies or health conditions that may affect product choice
- Keep children and pets away from work areas and wet surfaces
- Follow drying advice, including ventilation and walking only with clean socks until dry
5. Our responsibilities
- Carry out the work with reasonable care and skill using appropriate methods and products
- Test fabrics and dyes where practical before full cleaning
- Protect furniture and floors during the visit
- Inform you honestly of limitations and risks before starting
- Keep your property and information secure while in our care
6. Limitations of cleaning
Carpet and textile cleaning has natural limits. Some stains and conditions cannot be fully removed, including but not limited to bleach and chemical damage, burns, sun fading, dye bleeding, permanent pet damage, rust, heat-set stains and wear in traffic areas. Previously used home remedies can make stains permanent.
Cleaning may reveal pre-existing issues hidden by soil, such as wear, thinning or colour differences. These are not caused by cleaning. We will point out known risks at inspection and record them in writing or photographs.
7. Rug-room orders
Rugs collected for workshop washing are photographed and logged on collection. Estimated return times (normally 3–5 working days) may extend during the monsoon or for delicate items. Rugs not collected or accepted for delivery within 60 days of completion may incur a storage charge of ৳20 per day, after written notice.
8. Payment
Home services are paid on completion by bKash, Nagad, cash or bank transfer. Rug-room and large commercial jobs may require an advance of up to 30%. Commercial invoices are payable within 15 days unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in suspension of scheduled services.
9. Damage and claims
If you believe damage occurred during our service, please tell us within 48 hours and allow us to inspect. Where we are responsible, we will arrange repair, professional restoration or fair compensation based on the item's age and condition. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the value of the service fee paid for that item, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.
We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing defects, inherent manufacturing faults, unstable dyes that were disclosed to you, or failure to follow our drying and aftercare instructions.
10. Staff conduct and safety
Our staff will not work in unsafe conditions, including unstable furniture, exposed wiring or aggressive animals. We may pause or end a visit if our staff experience harassment or unsafe conditions, and charge for work completed. Please do not offer staff private work outside Carpet Fresh Now bookings.
11. Website use
Website content is provided for general information. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content, logo or images for commercial purposes without written permission. You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt its operation.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, including the Contract Act 1872 and the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 where applicable. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute amicably; unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. Last updated 1 August 2026.
